
Monica Bertini is a multimedia artist and fashion designer with 20 years of experience in Europe, the Americas and Asia. After Milan and New York, in 2002 she chose Shanghai for its important cultural ferment for 6 years. With artists, designers and architects, Monica become active part of an international network, participating in selected exhibitions in major museums and collaborating with fashion houses, celebrities and events for style & image creation. Her works range from Painting, sculptures and installations to video and photography. Her tribute to Shanghai took form with the H* Chairs Collection: 1930s Shanghai Art Deco restored with the ancient Florentine techniques and upholstered with 30's Qipaos, dresses from the Shanghai Golden era.
Combining her experience and knowledge, she aims at pushing the boundaries of art-design- fashion further; charmed by architectural contaminations, she sensuality of the shapes and the expression of life’s inner journey force penetrating matter.
